Job Description



Make a difference: 

As a Project Manager for AECOM in West Palm Beach County, Florida, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering critical civil design solutions for airport infrastructure in Florida, as well as the US. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop designs for significant airport improvements as well as simultaneously leading multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and construction of airside and landside improvements, ensuring compliance with FAA standards and client expectations. Job Summary:

  • Project management of planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects of airfield and landside projects
  • Managing a wide array of aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.
  • Involved from start to finish in the planning, design, and construction administration of airports, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans.
  • Mentor and develop staff, provide leadership and an environment that encourages teamwork, initiative, and growth.
  • Supervision, coordination, and production of several projects concurrently.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Coordination with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit Agencies.

Qualifications



Minimum:

  • BS Civil Engineering. 
  • 4 or more years of airside and landside airport project management or related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education 

Preferred:

  • Experience with airport improvements from planning through the design and construction phase
  • EI or PE, preferably the State of Florida

Additional Information
