Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Buildout. We are currently looking for an Associate Product Support Specialist in the United States.

As an Associate Product Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive timely, effective, and personalized support. You will troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and empower users to make the most of the platform. This position requires strong communication skills, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You will collaborate across teams to resolve product challenges, contribute to knowledge resources, and help improve processes. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and adoption while allowing you to grow technical expertise and develop your career within a supportive environment. Flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to learning will be critical to your success in this role.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, or phone, providing timely and accurate solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs to determine the best method of support, including Help Center articles, visual guides, or screen-share sessions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and other internal teams to resolve escalated issues and gather feedback for product improvements.
  • Educate customers on platform features, empowering them to effectively use the product.
  • Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and best practices, ensuring knowledge resources are current and helpful.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose process or product improvements.
  • Maintain a customer-first mindset, actively listening to understand and solve root problems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong desire to help customers succeed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with initiative to identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of prioritizing varied requests.
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn and grow in product knowledge and professional skills.
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools for problem-solving and decision-making.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting SaaS products or working in technical support.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Intercom, or similar customer support platforms.
