Job Description

Title: Associate Scientist I
Location: Des Plaines, Illinois
Duration: 12 Month Assignment
100% Onsite
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across functions
Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits is a plus
Experience with process and test method validations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Support reagent manufacturing activities and operations
Conduct investigations related to internal nonconformances and customer complaints involving reagents
Assist in the development and improvement of reagent manufacturing processes and/or products
Design experiments and testing schemes
Analyze data, write protocols and reports
Present findings to cross-functional teams
