Job Description

• Sorting and handling mail delivered to the corporate office & lockbox.
• Review returned statements due to bad addresses & update patient accounts.
• Review & process credit card payments; investigate card processing issues.
• Printing and mailing paper claims 
• Printing and mailing final notices for patient collection process.
• Printing and scanning as necessary.
• Working hours: 8-hour shift between the hours of 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday
• In-person position working at our corporate office in Boca Raton
  

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a medical office or equivalent with medical terminology, coding, charge entry and payment collection preferred.
• Technical knowledge of medical insurance billing is needed – at least 1 year experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; tech savvy, familiar with standard business office equipment, i.e., copier, fax, printer/scanner proficiency required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful

Additional Information

Job Type:

• Full-time or Part-time (20-30 hours/week)

Experience:

• Two years’ experience, in a medical office or equivalent, dealing with medical insurance billing, medical terminology, coding, charge entry and payment collection is preferred.

Education:

• High School Diploma
