Job Description
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are seeking a skilled professional to provide behavioral and therapeutic support services, including assessment, program planning, and intervention, all while collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams. This role offers a hybrid work setting, providing flexibility while ensuring high-quality care for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate behavior, skills, and individual needs.
Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to client goals.
Design evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on progress and emerging needs.
Implement strategies to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills.
Provide guidance and training to caregivers to enhance home-based support.
Work collaboratively with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff.
Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to track client progress.
Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis.
Address and manage crisis situations effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques.
Complete and finalize daily clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Assist in the development of training materials and procedures for staff.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights to optimize care plans.
Qualifications
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming.
Proficiency in data entry, computer skills, and CPT coding.
Ability to analyze behavioral data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable transportation for on-site visits as needed.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
