Pay Range: $24.00 to $37.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, some Fridays as necessary
Our Commercial HVAC Installers oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings. They work closely with other team members to ensure that all installations are completed efficiently and meet all safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation or operation. The experienced HVAC Installer will be required to run jobs from start to finish based on experience, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step of the project.
Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for efficient planning
- Install HVAC systems to code and manufacturer specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure peak performance
- Work with contractors and team members to complete jobs on time
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance
- Ensure strict safety and compliance with industry regulations
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience : 3 to 5 years proven experience in HVAC installations, with in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, tools and equipment, preferably in a commercial/industrial setting; leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently; strong communication and customer service skills, with a professional demeanor.
Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation; high school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred; certification or licensure in HVAC is a plus; ability to work independently in accordance with supervision; may be required to train apprentices; may be required to run jobs from start to finish based on experience; must have the ability to start at the designated work time.
Physical condition and strength required to work in awkward spaces; work is performed in various environments and includes exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on job location and season; must be able to lift heavy materials and tools up to 60 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
