Job Description

General Description:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance and cleaning of the crushing facility and related equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Primary task - to reduce in size the slag material recovered from the main plant oversize screen and incoming loads of oversize from Approved Source Material Suppliers.
2. Maintain crushing plant in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Any and all mechanical repair.
4. Any and all clean-up required.
5. Recover any metallics from picking conveyor and put in proper place. Remove the rubbish from the slag prior to crushing.
6. To record weights of metallic recovered and give to office assistant. ( Form C4-10-2)

7. Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Level of education required: High School diploma or GED required.

Specific skills/experience needed: Should have basic mechanical, welding, burning, and hydraulic experience. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Minimum 5 years work experience
