We are seeking a skilled scrum master or project manager with a desire to learn penetration testing in a fast paced, demanding role. This person will facilitate the operations of our penetration testing team. The ideal candidate will manage our kanban board, application burndown, oversee metrics, schedule demos, gather credentials, and develop yearly penetration testing schedules. The role requires strong organizational skills, soft skills, and familiarity with the Pentesting process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
· Manage daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth team operations. Organize the Kanban board ensuring task are updated and workflows are optimized.
· Present at meetings of up to 150 people including senior management.
· Conduct Penetration tests retests on previous identified pentest vulnerabilities to confirm closure.
· Build and maintainer yearly penetration testing schedules, aligning with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
· Gather credentials and access permissions required for testing activities.
· Coordinate demo sessions for the testers to understand the application.
· Remove blockers impeding progress and provide resources needed for successful test execution.
· Coach the team on agile principles.
· Create and maintain all documentation (e.g. standards, policies, procedures) necessary for compliance and application of application security controls and tool selection.
· Provide critical support for cybersecurity technology infrastructure issues to internal clients, exercising judgement on when to escalate to senior resources.
· Monitor cybersecurity systems using enterprise class monitoring systems, proactively identify potential issues, and exercise appropriate responses to events.
· Complete low to moderately complex engineering work and documentation based on the guidance of others and contributes to project by completing assigned tasks.
· Analyze basic information and makes decisions within guidelines or standard practices to solve problems. Contributes to projects by completing assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
· Two or more years of experience working within an enterprise Information/Cyber Security setting, or equivalent experience
· Knowledge in information systems and ability to apply that knowledge in practice
· Experience participating in IT projects
Preferred Qualifications:
· Banking or financial services experience
· Technical certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNA, Network+)
· Security certifications (e.g. SANS GCIF, SANS GSEC, Security+)
