Job Title: Healthcare Business Analyst – Medicaid Projects
Location: Columbia, SC

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $85–$90 per hour

Candidate must be a CURRENT South Carolina resident. No relocation allowed.

Project Overview:

This role will support Medicaid modernization initiatives, focusing on requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, and process documentation. The ideal candidate will help bridge business needs and technical solutions within the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization effort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, vendors, and technical teams.
• Develop process flow diagrams and functional specifications.
• Conduct gap analyses and support data mapping activities.
• Facilitate meetings and presentations to stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables align with Medicaid policies and operational needs.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Medicaid or healthcare insurance operations.
• Strong skills in business analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in MES or MMIS projects.
• Public sector project experience.
• Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
