We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our growing team at our Wynwood, Miami headquarters.

The Junior Buyer will support the buying team in executing purchasing strategies and driving product acquisition in line with Aroma360's brand identity. This entry-level role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build a career in luxury retail procurement, with opportunities for growth and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify product opportunities.
• Support in negotiating pricing and contract terms with vendors and suppliers.
• Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, supplier interactions, and pricing data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to align procurement with company goals.
• Help develop procurement strategies that support both growth and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance vendor relationships to secure exclusivity or priority for off-price buying opportunities.
• Stay informed of competitor activities in both off-price and full-price markets.
• Maintain a high level of trend awareness across relevant departments and the broader luxury market.
• Participate in special projects and day-to-day procurement operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Purchase Order Cycle Time: Efficiency in completing purchase orders from initiation to fulfillment.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Effectiveness in maintaining strong, professional vendor relationships.
• Cost of Purchase Order: Optimization of procurement costs and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
• On-Time, In-Budget Purchases: Adherence to budget and timeline compliance.
• Purchase Order Accuracy: Minimization of errors in purchasing documentation and execution.
• Emergency Purchase Ratio: Reduction of urgent, unplanned procurement activities.
• Cost Avoidance: Proactive identification of cost-cutting measures without compromising product quality.
• Cost Reduction: Achieving savings through negotiation, volume discounts, or alternative sourcing.
• Procurement ROI: Evaluating the impact and profitability of procurement strategies and investments.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in buying, procurement, or merchandising (luxury industry preferred).
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with procurement or ERP software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
• A strong interest in luxury lifestyle, fashion, or home décor industries.

Schedule:

• M-F 9am-6pm in our Wynwood, Miami location
• Medical, Dental and Vision
• 401K and PTO
• $50K-$62K annually -Based on experience
