Position: Package Handler
Evolution Sports Group seeks a motivated and reliable Package Handler to join our team full-time and permanently. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing our company's incoming and outgoing packages and shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and sort incoming packages and shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
- Prepare outgoing packages and shipments for delivery, including packaging, labeling, and addressing
- Utilize shipping software and equipment to track and process packages
- Assist with loading and unloading packages from delivery trucks and organizing them in the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate with team members and delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages
- Follow company procedures and protocols for handling and storing packages
- Identify and report any issues or discrepancies with packages or shipments
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a package handling or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with shipping software and equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
