Job Description

Description of Work/Responsibilities. The consultant will:

4.1.1 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and interpret business

requirements.

4.1.2 Translate requirements into functional and technical design documents.

4.1.3 Architect technical solutions for the Student Information System (PeopleSoft

Campus Solutions) based on technical design specs.

4.1.4 Develop and implement customizations or integrations, including some complex

programming at a senior level.

4.1.5 Conduct unit testing and support system testing.

4.1.6 Deploy approved PeopleSoft enhancements and support rollout.

4.1.7 Provide knowledge transfer and support documentation.

4.1.8 Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and QA support as needed.

4.2 Key Deliverables. Deliverables may include, but are not limited to, the following:

4.2.1 Technical specifications and design documentation for approved enhancements

4.2.2 Developed and tested code/configuration for approved requests

4.2.3 User acceptance testing (UAT) support and issue resolution

4.2.4 Deployment and post-implementation validation

4.2.5 Final knowledge transfer document or debrief session summarizing completed work

Required Qualifications. The consultant must have:
5.1.1 A bachelor's degree in relevant field.
5.1.2 Minimum 6 years of PeopleSoft technical developer experience, which includes a
minimum of 5 years of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. (Student Financials, Academic
Advisement, Campus Community, Financial Aid, Admissions and Student Records )
5.1.3 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
5.1.4 Strong work ethic, responsibility, and dedication.
5.1.5 Proven experience in the full life cycle of developing, testing, and supporting
applications within a PeopleSoft environment.
5.1.6 Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions at a senior level.
5.1.7 Development experience in PeopleSoft, including Application Packages, Application
Engine, SQR, Application Designer, Integration Broker, Web Services (REST and
SOAP), PeopleCode, Security, and PeopleTools 8.56+.
5.1.8 Ability to evaluate existing PeopleSoft customizations/integrations, make
recommendations, and implement as needed.
5.1.9 Knowledgeable about the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions data model.
5.1.10 Experience with relational databases, including proficiency with Oracle SQL.
5.1.11 Work collaboratively with the functional team and others to formalize PeopleSoft
solutions for enhancements and troubleshoot PeopleSoft production issues.
5.1.12 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
5.1.13 Experience and knowledge in systems analysis, application administration, testing,
and implementation of complex systems.
5.1.14 Self-motivated with a high commitment to excellence, cooperation, and team
achievement.
5.1.15 The ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate
across technical and functional teams.
5.1.16 Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
5.1.17 Ability to provide expert level guidance in the areas of analysis and design of systems,
analysis of technology platforms, implementation approaches, project strategies,
project development methodology, application enhancement methodology

5.1.18 Ability to Assist with applications, software products, system development and
implementation, customization of business processes \Ability to work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
5.1.19 Skills to assess business procedures and develop, implement and maintain
customized PeopleSoft solutions.
5.1.20 Highly developed problem-solving skills.
5.1.21 Effectively manages scope and expectations on individual assignments Follows
through on all assignments and takes ownership of the issues
5.2 Desirable Qualifications:
5.2.1 Experience with JavaScript and CSS.
