The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of finished goods within our warehouse. This role is key to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring products are properly stored and prepared for shipment. You'll be self-directed and trusted to uphold our company values and procedures, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.
Operate Reach Trucks and Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate reach trucks and forklifts to put away, pick, and consolidate finished goods inventory in our rack system.
Inventory Management: Group products correctly, ensure proper product rotation, and navigate our inventory management software to maintain accurate records.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, stage products for shipment, and transport goods throughout the facility.
Safety and Compliance: Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment and strictly adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other team members and management to ensure a smooth flow of goods and coordinate tasks.
Quality Control: Check the condition of goods and report any damage or discrepancies to management.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 pounds, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Experience with a sit-down forklift is preferred.
Reach truck experience is a plus, but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate!
This position involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery, moderate noise levels, and varying temperatures (from 0 to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit). You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
