We are currently seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support our growing operations in New York, NY . This role involves collaborating closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth daily operation of the restaurant, uphold food safety standards, provide leadership to the team, and deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

• Partner with the General Manager to engage, coach, and lead team members toward high performance
• Participate in recruiting and training new hires
• Assist in achieving business and financial targets
• Communicate priorities, updates, and standards clearly to the team
• Oversee floor operations to ensure efficient team deployment
• Troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth restaurant performance
• Oversee inventory control and food safety measures with strong attention to detail
• Maintain strict adherence to food expiration, storage, and labeling protocols
• Contribute to continuous training in both front and back-of-house operations

Food & Team Safety:

• Enforce compliance with food safety and sanitation policies at all times
• Promote a safe and secure working environment for all staff

Customer Experience:

• Inspire and uphold a culture of customer-first service at every touchpoint
• Ensure consistent service excellence from all team members

What You Bring to the Table:

• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a high-volume quick-service or full-service restaurant
• Proven ability to manage and inspire teams of 15+ staff
• Strong communication and people skills
• Reliable, professional, and organized, with a clear sense of urgency
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Current Food Handlers Certification
• Must be 21+ years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
