We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support financial processes, configurations, and business solutions in a dynamic IT environment.

Job Type: Contractual W2 without benefits (No C2C / No Sponsorship)

Estimated Contract Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA, 95051 - Onsite

Job Description:

• Knowledge of configuration and daily support of the SAP FICO modules .
• Knowledge & understanding of SAP end-to-end process configuration such as AR, AP, GL, Treasury, Banking, Fixed Assets. Mentor/support users and teammates on functionalities including understanding of SAP FICO configurations and transaction related to EBS, FX, AP Payments, Cash Application, Work with stakeholders and business users to define the requirement and then explain the system solution.
• Work with Technical ABAP team in explaining the requirements and co-ordinate with them to get development moving.
• Prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing scripts.
• Create Training documentation and impart training to end users.
• Provide status of the assigned tasks to Project Manager and other team members.
• Key contact with the business users in different time zones to collaboratively work on the requirements to develop additional functionalities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs.
• Work with the onsite offshore resources in different time zones to prioritize, coordinate and execute daily production support and guide them in implementing small to medium size projects.
• Ability to architect solutions in the Finance functional areas by seamlessly integrating with SD, MM, FI and BW functional areas and Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree
• Minimum 5 years of SAP R/3 (4.6 C to ECC 6.0) experience focused on the FICO modules in SAP.
• Strong FICO configuration and technical skills
• Change Control and Release Management Experience
• Practical Finance functional/business knowledge and experience.
• Strong proven project management experience and skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaborative work experience
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Action oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• User management and training experience
