Job Description

Overview:

Senior Treasury Analyst
Responsibilities will cover one or more Treasury operations functional areas such as: analyses, report generation, transaction processing, data entry, consistently meeting processing deadlines, and resolving operational issues

 

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the banking and cash management infrastructure, opening and closing of bank accounts, maintenance requirements, and signature card updates.
  • Supporting various aspects of credit card processing, including merchant applications, gateway management, chargebacks, and processing fees. Deep understanding involved in credit card processing
  • Analyze and monitor daily cash activity across various accounts and banks. Including, Wire and ACH requests, positive pay exceptions, issues/voids, and stop payments.
  • Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules for reconciliations of all credit card and cash related accounts and all month-end processes. Including preparing journal entries and bank reconciliations, proposing adjustments as needed
  • Daily downloading, formatting, analysis, and issue resolution of bank and credit card data
  • Support accounting and field operations as they relate to Treasury transactions
  • Maintain internal audit and PCI control standards
  • Support the Treasury team with existing credit card and banking duties and investigating discrepancies
  • Other duties and/or special projects may be assigned to meet business needs; will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties if requested
Qualifications:
    • Required Microsoft Excel knowledge with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sumif, building formulas, and conditional formatting at a minimum
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with strict deadlines
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Previous restaurant experience a plus
    • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and have strong analytical skills

     

     

    Education and experience

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
    • Two plus years’ experience in the cash/treasury management area, including journal entries and bank/credit card reconciliations
    • Blackline and Oracle experience a plus
