Job Description



The National Spa Recruiter is responsible for executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy to support Equinox’s Multi-Unit Spa business and its primary revenue-driving positions. This role aims to increase applicant flow and headcount while implementing best-in-class interview and selection practices with Spa Managers. Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager overseeing all markets, the National Spa Recruiter will promote Equinox as an employer of choice for Spa Practitioners nationwide and serve as an expert in all areas of Talent Acquisition.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Regional, National, and Club Spa Leaders to assess recruiting needs and identify key recruitment issues.
  • Implement effective recruitment initiatives to attract highly qualified candidates, conduct thorough screening of prospective applicants, and maintain a strong recruiting presence and positive candidate experience.
  • Generate and screen resumes and applications, schedule applicant appointments, and conduct in-depth interviews.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Spa licensing requirements across all Equinox markets.
  • Increase the flow of qualified applicants for Spa positions across all markets based on national guidance.
  • Utilize online sourcing resources and in-house recruiting tools to identify and recruit top candidates, developing a network of contacts.
  • Provide exceptional client service and full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Offer guidance to management and associates on employment policies and procedures.
  • Organize recruiting presentations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop unique and regionalized marketing efforts as needed.
  • Create and execute career and networking events to generate interest in Spa careers.
  • Coordinate regional event participation, including career events for new club openings.
  • Conduct competitor research.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Recruiting and Human Resources; campus recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Preferred: Experience in the Spa industry and a network of spa practitioners and leaders.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of pipelines.
  • Proficiency in tracking and analyzing data.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, social media recruiting techniques, and other web-based employment strategies. (SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, UKG Pro, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage candidates, clients, and team.
  • Sense of urgency to meet the demands of a fast-paced work environment and achieve KPIs.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience: sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, wage and salary trends, job posting, networking events, in-person presentations, referral programs, and headhunting.
  • Strong Boolean search and resume database search skills.
  • Proven success in executing both tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Keen eye for talent, focusing on proven success, attitude, and cultural fit.
  • Ability to interact with and influence senior operations leaders.

Pay Transparency: $65,000-$70,000
