**Position Summary...** **What you'll do...** We are seeking a highly skilled communications professional with experience in large organizations to drive transformational change and impact. The position will support Walmart's Global Responsibility efforts across philanthropy, including Walmart and the Walmart Foundation's $1.7 billion cash and in-kind giving annually through its community, opportunity and sustainability giving portfolios. In this role, the candidate will develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communications strategies to enhance our company's reputation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in change and process management, using data and insights to inform communications strategies and leveraging AI to drive efficiency. This role involves driving brand awareness, serving as a high-level spokesperson, advising senior management, and providing executive communications support, fostering media relationships, and ensuring sensitive messages are communicated effectively. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is integrated across the business. In this role, the selected candidate will engage in community and stakeholder outreach, build integrated digital and media strategies to drive business goals and support associate engagement. The candidate will lead creative campaigns to help Walmart's philanthropic and community initiatives break through among key stakeholders both nationally and locally. This person will develop relationships with journalists and bloggers, monitor and measure media and digital strategies and manage public relations issues and opportunities. This role will also partner with the business to empower associates, customers, and members to support the causes they care about, helping develop a culture of local giving.
