The duties of the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) requires multi-disciplinary skills which include a detailed knowledge of gaming activities and Tribal gaming sensitivities in California, financial analysis, investigative operations, communication and presentation skills. The AGPA will establish a close working relationship with Tribal governments and gaming agencies; produce assigned written reports following established criteria; and interpret and apply Bureau policies. The AGPA should possess discipline, organizational skills, and effective interpersonal skills.
Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the (AGPA) interprets and applies gambling statutes and regulations in the review and processing of vendor entity and principal applications and the preparation of recommendations for findings of suitability in accordance with the Tribal-State Gaming compact and the Gambling Control Act. This includes a comparative analysis, examination of personal history and presenting written reports and oral briefings to management regarding recommendations for licensure or administrative action based upon a collective analysis of the information and documentation accumulated during the background investigation.Please let us know how you heard about our position by taking this brief survey:
