G-Net Construction is looking to hire an BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER! We are a full-service general construction company offering a full-time opportunity to grow with us!

Tasks include (BUT NOT LIMITED TO!):

• Lead Procurement of all specialty materials (ex. doors & hardware, windows, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, specialties and accessories, etc.) for all projects and placing these orders with various vendors.
• Maintaining calendar for all projects' activities and material delivery ETA.
• Review and evaluate of vendor proposals.
• Research project materials for purchasing, researching and submitting data cuts for approval.
• Set up contract agreements w/ Owner or Subcontractors.
• Updating project schedules.
• Asist with color selections and assemble color palettes for owner approval.
• Assisting with office phone calls, filing, scanning, copying, etc.
• Scheduling meetings & coordinating attendees.
• New vendor, supplier and subcontractor acquisition.
• Help with "processing" proposals and change orders.
• Help with “processing” post meeting notes (field and office meetings).
• Help with visiting job sites daily to track progress.
• Help with updating submittals logs and following up with respective subcontractors/vendors/architects.
• Help with “processing” approved vendor proposals.

Qualifications:

• MUST have a valid driver’s license.
• MUST have your own means of transportation.
• Having any already worked in a construction or architectural firm is a plus.
• Having any education in a construction or architectural school is a plus.
• MUST be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Project, etc.
• Having a NYC DOB Expediter license is a plus.
• Having Estimating experience is a Plus.
